Blessing Adeoye
Founder and Executive Director
Cross of Christ Ministries
Blessing Adeoye, Ph.D. is the founder and the executive director of the Cross of Christ Ministries. In 2004, he retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to start a full-time ministry in his home country of Nigeria.
Dr. Adeoye immigrated to the United States in the early '80s to pursue his bachelor's degree at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in architecture. After graduating, he spent over 20 years in Champaign, Illinois with his wife - Florence Folami-Adeoye - and three daughters and son - Treslyn, Michelle, Christine, and Blessing Jr. While working for the Army Corps of Engineers in Champaign, Dr. Adeoye completed his doctorate degree in Educational Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Cross of Christ Hospital
Dr. Florence Funmilola Folami is the Founder and the President of Cross of Christ Hospital and the co-founder of the Cross of Christ Orphanage Home in Akute, Ogun State. She was formally the coordinator of the Nursing Program at the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi Araba, Lagos. She was also formally an associate professor at Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois, USA and a Lactation Consultant for St. Mary Hospital, Decatur, Illinois, USA.
