Chapter Twenty

How to Stay Free

1. Repentance: When you sin; you turn, repent, commit to change mind and actions, ask forgiveness and thank the Lord Jesus.

2. Continue in the battle: Until the victory is complete; remember deliverance is a process, do not become discouraged. The personal battle is between you and the devil.Be determined to do God's will and do it.

3. Don't go it alone: You need help; stay related to others in the body. Get anchored, taught, corrected and ministered to.

4. Get rid of dead flesh: YOU change; your habits; your attitudes; and all your old ways of life. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in HIS WAYS.

5. Purpose to Live a Disciplined Life: Discipline what you look at; what you read; what you speak; what and who you listen to; Examples; magazines, people, papers, TV, radio etc., and to live in the Word of God.

6. Your Goal is to Change: You assume your own responsibility to change. Keep the scriptures before your eyes and your ears listening and obeying it.

7. Guard Your Thought Life: Not every thought is yours; recognize them as not of God; not yours; or the enemy; Then what is not of God take to the cross, bring them into captivity, and put them under the Blood. Your thoughts, go to emotion and then to our volition (Our Wills), the door is the thought life.....Your battleground........(2Cor. 10:3-5).

8. Maintain the Fruits of the Spirit in Your Life.. (Gal. 5:22). When these fruits are disturbed; your love, joy and peace, then you know that Satan is on the prowl; do something about it as soon as you are aware of it. Peace is a quality of the mind. Always be happy in the Lord.

9. Forgiving Always: You are never allowed to feel hurt, resentment, bitterness, hatred, etc.; the only person harmed by this is you; you reap the rewards by Spiritual, Mental and Physical Attack. The results of your actions are your consequences for allowing your old reactions to take over in these instances.

10. Move Against the Enemy at The First Sign of Attack: whether it be by Satan or Self: The further you move on in Jesus the more aware you become of Satan's ways, wiles, deceits and methods. If in doubt, challenge him to come out, and if he or his demons are there, they must obey; if this is not the case deal with SELF and change that pattern habit into what God would have you to do.

11. Discipline Your Tongue: You will be held accountable for every idle word that proceeds from your mouth.

12. Fill Your House: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit gives you the way to speak to God directly, spirit to Spirit. Thank Jesus daily for his power, his character, his Word, his fellowship and prayers.

13. Give Yourself to Others: Do this in every way the Lord directs you to; Pray for all saints, (God's people), your leaders, your country, kings and all in authority that we may lead peaceable and quiet lives. In praying for others you build up your own Spiritual power.

14. Pray In Tongues Daily: This builds up your spirit. This is your tool to keep the enemy behind you; it is your defense in the battle. Put on your Spiritual Armor: (Eph. 6:10-18)

Each day look to Him, Praise the Lord in the Spirit, in the natural and in song. Praise Him for who He is, and for what He has done and is doing in your life and heart. Praise in Hebrew implies victory!

It takes your mouth to confess God's word, Your mind to think God's word, and your action to do God's word.

Remember: When you expose Satan’s ways to the light of the Holy Spirit, By speaking them out, and seeing them for what they are, and desire to be free from them, you have defeated their purpose in your life and they must and will leave........

EXTRA FACTS GATHERED WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF:

In a counterfeit personality which is set up in Schizophrenia, the demon itself will be different from one person to another. (React differently). More demons enter at childhood; and by rejection, than any other way.

SEVER APRON STRINGS WITH CHILDREN WHEN THE TIME COMES.

Three things children need: Love, training, discipline. The only discipline in the Word is the rod; other punishment brings only resentment. Discipline immediately and only in love.

No cartoons; No fantasies; No fairytales; teach the reality of Jesus Christ.

Parents are responsible and must work together. A strong home keeps out the power of the enemy.

Satan’s method of attack:

Evil thoughts come; imagination takes over; you then delight in the thought, and consent to the act.

Stop him at the entrance of that first thought immediately.

The mentally ill can never speak in a language they have never heard of or learned, no matter what they are suffering from.

DEMON POWER WORKS IN SEVEN AREAS OF THE WORLD TODAY:

1. Apostasy: Don't care attitude.

2. World of Business.

3. World of Politics.

4. World of Crime.

5. Occultism.

6. World of disease.

7. World of morals. (None left).

Abortion must be confessed as murder. Illegitimacy and adoption, sponsor rejection. Medals may have to be removed, renounced, and then destroyed.

Injuries attract demons. Spirit of witchcraft seeks to control another person through a spirit of control and domination, and operates through manipulation.

The very nature of the Antichrist is Rebellion. In dealing with schizophrenia, the main need is love.

All lust is rooted in selfishness.

REJECTION ENTERS:

Formative years (even before birth). Treatment of the child, such as; adopted, neglected, unloved, teasing baby-sitters, ridicule, comparison, or belittling. Parents too busy; must work. Stay at home and minister to own home and family.

We must assume the responsibility of our own condition. If you have weakness in one area of your body, the other areas will try to compensate for it.

Children are especially vulnerable to demon invasion, keep homes in order. Home related demons get in through unharmonious homes. Admonish means to teach and instruct until they understand. Nurture them means to train, correct and discipline.

Your children should know how to recognize Satan and demons and how to fight them. Teach them all about evil spirits in all areas of their everyday life. Protect your children from fear; TV, Fantasy, movies, pornography, Etc.

Broken homes, mental depression and moral degeneration often follow participation in the occult practices.

SEVEN STEPS FOR RETAINING DELIVERANCE

Put on the whole armor of God: Eph. 6:10-18. There are seven pieces of armor:

(a.) Loins gird about with truth; (b.) The breastplate of righteousness; (c.) Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (d.) The shield of faith; (e.) The helmet of salvation; (f.) The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; (g.) Praying in the Holy Ghost;. (Praying in tongues).

Pay special attention to the Helmet of Salvation for the guarding of your thought life. Most demons seeking to re-enter assail the thought. Become watchful of any thoughts that could be considered negative; they are from the enemy and refuse them, in most instances. Replace them with positive spiritual thoughts.

KEEPING YOUR DELIVERANCE:

(Joshua 1:2,3) PRAY ALWAYS.

1. Submit one to another in the fear of God.

2. Husbands love your wives, as Christ loves the Church.

3. Fathers love children; do not provoke to wrath.

4. Wives be submissive to your husbands as to the Lord.

5. Children obey your parents.

6. Employees serve your employers as unto the Lord.

7. Employers treat your employees justly and equally; knowing you also have a Master in Heaven.

Legally the land belongs to us but through experience we take it and cast out the demons.

1. Make Jesus Lord (EVERY AREA). Speak, think and act and you shall have all!! It takes your mouth to confess God's Word, your mind to think God's Word and your actions to do God's Word.

2. Confess positively: Negative confessions characterize demonic influence in most cases. Positive confession is faith expressed. Any other will open the door for the enemy. (Mark 11:23). (Prov. 18:21). Which power is in operation because of your tongue.

Positive and optimistic attitudes at all times. Pessimistic attitudes deny faith, as well as the love, mercy, goodness, kindness and gentleness of God.

3. Stay in the Scripture: (James 1:22-25). But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own hearts. For if any be a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror. Thus the Word is a Mirror of to the Soul.

(Psalm 119:105); It is a lamp unto the feet for guidance.

(Ephesians 5:26,27); It is a cleansing agent. (Hebrews 4:12); It is a two edged sword, laying bare the heart. Soul and spirit.

(1 Peter 2:2; Matt. 4:4); It is food for the spirit. No person can long maintain deliverance apart from the word of God being a primary factor in their lives. (Psalm 1:1-3).

My responsibility after deliverance is to stay free.

4. The flesh has already been crucified. (Romans 6:6; Gal. 2:20; Rom. 6:11). Take up your cross daily and follow Jesus. (Mark 7:14-23). Out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: ALL these evil things come from within, and make a man unclean. Break old habit patterns; if fleshly appetites, desires and lust are not brought to the cross, the door for demons will always be open. (Galatians 5:19-21,24).

One final note (Ephesians 5:5); For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor UNCLEAN PERSON, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Brothers and Sisters we had better stay clean. Amen.

5. Develop a life of continuous praise and prayer: Praise silences the enemy. Praise is not an attitude of heart. Praise is a spiritual expression of the believer to God in the Spirit. The true worshippers, worship in spirit and in truth. There are seven (7) out workings of prayer: 1. Praise; 2. Worship; 3. Petition; 4. Supplication; 5. Thanksgiving; 6. Intercession; 7. Warfare Commands. Pray in the spirit and also the understanding, sing in the spirit and also the understanding. (1Cor. 14:14.) Pray without ceasing. (1Thes. 5:17).

6. Maintain a Life of Fellowship and Spiritual Maturity: It is the sheep that wanders that is most endangered. Find and fulfill your function in the body. Desire spiritual gifts and yield to their operation through you within the body. (1Cor. 12:7-14). Keep yourself under authority.

7. Commit yourself totally to Christ. Determine that every thought, word and action will reflect the very nature of Christ. Abide in Christ that the fruit of the Spirit might come forth in abundance. Demon spirits are enemies of the fruits of the Spirit. Faith and trust in God is the greatest weapon against the devil's lies. (Ephesians 6:16).

When one rebels against authority, he is saying I refuse to accept what you say. When you refuse, you assume the authority for yourself.

1. Do your own thing.

2. Self-willed.

3. Selfishness.

4. Self deception: Think you are right when you are wrong.

5. Self delusion.

6. Stubborn.

7. Pride.

8. Un-teachable.

Rejection begets rejection. Basic weapon of Satan: rebellion, rejection, bitterness & resentment.

I decide to change in all areas:

1. Bad habits to good.

2. Worry to hope.

3. Bad attitude to love.

4. Reaction to positive action.

5. Impatience to tolerance.

6. Thought life (good and disciplined).

7. Talk (doubt) to faith.

Speak the truth in love and be open and teachable. Speak only these things equal to the Word! People will be happier when I change. You bear the responsibility for changing.

You are alone on this one, only you can do it, so do it.

THREE AREAS TO DEAL WITH:

1. Repent of your sins. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Repent of these things, (fear, doubt, and depression).

2. Ourselves: flesh. (Romans 6:6). Daily, continually, be reminded of your crucifixion with Christ, and you are indeed dead to sin. (Galatians 2:20), I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ that liveth in me.

3. Deal with devil himself. Get angry and hate him, he hates you. (Eph. 6:11).

Stand against the devil. Stand fast to win. (2Cor. 2:14). Now thanks be unto God, which ALWAYS CAUSETH us to triumph IN CHRIST, and maketh known the fragrance of his knowledge by us IN EVERY PLACE. We win in Christ always and in every place.

Jesus gave us authority: (Luke 10:19), Authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt ME.

(Mark 16:17,18), Signs follow the believer, believers do not follow signs.

(Isaiah 61:1), This is the children's bread, The ministry of deliverance.

Hindrances to deliverance and freedom:

1. Unforgiveness: whether alive or dead.

If we do not forgive, God turns us over to the tormentors (demons).

2. Occult: Some sickness, mental and physical are rooted here.

Evil spirits are attracted by literature and objects of occult and cults. Stay away from all things which have their origin in eastern religions. (Oriental, yoga, karate etc.).

Abortion and adultery must be confessed, passivity, take a stand against it, resist all fear and doubt:

All self-consciousness; There is nothing to be ashamed of, God is never embarrassed, He loves you. Further, He already knows.

Suppression: Demons cause you to suppress your problems. Let's face it, some of your problems, just might be demonic.

COOPERATE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR DELIVERANCE:

1. Activate your will: Stand, Resist and Wrestle.

2. Assume you have demons whether you have them or not, in this way if there is a spirit of deception, it will have no legal right to stay.

3. Manifestations come through breathing out, through nose or hard through the mouth, through coughing or yawning, sighing, choking, pain, burping, pressure, screaming, crying, laughing, violence, etc...

Prime the pump: Willingly and willfully breathe them out.

TO BE PRAYED EVERY 7 - 9 DAYS FOR SELF DELIVERANCE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY:

I loose myself, from every evil spirit, person or power coming against me and my family that was contrary to the will of God. If spoken in ignorance, Lord, I ask that you bless them. I further renounce every evil incantation, from whatever source, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

I renounce every soulish prayer prayed for me and my family that was contrary to the Word or Will of God, and I renounce all consequences of such prayers, and render powerless any evil spirit on assignment as a result of them. In the Name of Jesus Christ, it is done.

I cast out of myself and this place every unclean spirit, spirit of infirmity or evil spirit of torment, as well as any other evil spirits, that are not God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. In the Name of Jesus Christ I command every evil spirit on assignment to go now! Go, Go, Go, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Hear the Word of The Lord:

Christians Are Like Jesus:

Everything has been provided for you, everything has been established. You have been called to holiness, you have been called to Me and by Me. Your heartbeat is in My hand. I will use those who have been called by My Spirit. Their hands will be extensions of My hands. Be prayerful, be vigilant, be uncompromising, be Mine. You will discover truths that will be revealed as you extend yourselves toward Me. The pages will be open and you will see. Saith the Lord.

Your Steps are Ordered by Me:

You have been and are now ascending the steps to knowledge and truth, wisdom and sacrifice. These steps are being now applied to your lives as you commune and learn of Me. Some are narrow steps they seem hard to entreat, but I will steady you, lest you fall. Other steps are wide, they are easier and you apply them much more readily. You are unaware of some of these steps, you think you have not ascended but My children, you have!! You have won many victories in Me but there are many more to attain. Keep climbing, I AM with you, do not falter, be not discouraged, I call you, climb! Saith the Lord.

Some Closing Thoughts:

Many suppose they are Christians from the emotions they feel in view of truth, when in fact what they receive is truth presented to their minds in such a way that they do not see its bearing on themselves. If you bring the truth so to bear upon them, as to destroy their pride and cut them off from their worldliness, such professors resist it. Look about you in the church. See what a multitude of orthodox churches and orthodox Christians live and feed upon the abstract doctrines of religion from year to year. Then look further at their lives and see how little influence their professed belief has upon their practice. Have they saving faith? It cannot be. I do not mean to say that none of these church members are pious, but I do say that those who do not adopt in practice what they admit in theory; who are hearers of the word but not doers, deceive themselves.

Inquire now how many of you really believe the truths you have read? I have attempted to share in this manual a practical course. I do not mean that I am writing apart from doctrinal truth. Apart from doctrine, why write at all? That is not my purpose, at all. Moreover, what I desire is to see whether you will, as a Christian, do what you believe to be true. If I do not succeed in convincing you that any doctrine I may maintain is really true, then I have failed. That is reason enough why you should not do it. But if I do succeed in proving from the scriptures and convincing your understanding that it is true, and yet you do not practice it, you shall then have the evidence before your own eyes what your character is, and no longer deceive yourself with the idea that you are a Christian. Christians are like Jesus!!

Do you find this to be your experience, that when you receive any practical truth into your minds you love it, and love to feel its application to yourself, and take pleasure in practicing it? If you are not growing in grace, becoming more and more holy, yielding yourselves up to the influence of the gospel, you are deceiving yourselves.

How is it now, with you who are reading this manual, everyone of you? Now that you know the truth regarding Curses and Demons. What are you all going to do with all of this? May I suggest that you seize hold of it and take it home with you, and start renouncing the curses and casting out the demons in your own family.

If you continue in My Word, then are ye my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

(John 8:31,32) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
